Behold the 'SCA Bar Wench' costume. Yes, it's exactly the same pattern as their 'Renaissance' outfit, and it's just as wrong this time around. Okay, so maybe this version's not as godawfully pink, but the paisley is a lot more obvious.
Sing with me now: There was NOOOO PAISLEY in Renaissance Europe...
...And there weren't any miniskirts, either. Wear this thing to Ren Faires (if you don't mind looking like a ditz), but you'll be laughed out of the SCA if you try it there!
I'm familiar with these costumes - you get them in a bag at the Halloween stores... or year round in the "adult" stores.
